San Rafael Pacifics Roll Past Vallejo Seaweed 13-5

June 20 2023 The San Rafael Pacifics defeated the Vallejo Seaweed 13-5 after scoring in eight of nine innings. San Rafael collected 12 hits and took control early with three runs in the first inning, one in the second and two in the third to build a 6-1 lead. The Pacifics added two runs in the fourth, then extended the advantage to 10-3 through six innings before scoring twice in the eighth and once in the ninth. John Bicos led San Rafael with three hits, three runs and one RBI. Tyler Georgeson added two hits, two runs and two RBIs, while Eric Parnow drove in four runs. Grant Victor scored three times and contributed one RBI, and Dan Crossan had one hit and two RBIs. Kyle Guerra reached base three times with one hit and three walks, and Kevin Johnson collected two hits. Simon Martinez earned the win for San Rafael with 3.1 scoreless innings, allowing no hits while striking out seven and walking two. Austin Fitzpatrick worked the first 3.2 innings and allowed three runs on four hits, and Chris Johnson completed the game with two runs allowed in two innings. Dandre Gaines hit a home run for Vallejo and finished with one hit, one run and one RBI. Ike Horn Jr. also had one hit and drove in a run. Tavon Gibbs took the loss after allowing six runs on five hits in three innings, while Ike Horn Jr. allowed four runs in three innings and Kevin Consolazio surrendered three runs over three innings.
