Vallejo Seaweed Outlast Dublin Leprechauns 15-11

June 21 2024 The Vallejo Seaweed scored 12 runs through the first three innings and held on to defeat the Dublin Leprechauns 15-11. Vallejo finished with 12 hits, while Dublin collected 15. The Seaweed added two runs in the fifth and one in the eighth to build a 15-8 advantage before Dublin scored three times in the ninth.

Erik Molina led Vallejo with three hits, four runs and three RBI, including a home run. Trey Fletcher also had three hits and scored three runs while driving in two, and J. Reed added a home run and two RBI. For Dublin, J. Ford went 3-for-5 with two runs and one RBI, while J. Nunn had two hits, four RBI and a home run.

Antonio Straughter earned the win after allowing five runs, three earned, on nine hits in six innings. He walked four and struck out six. Adrian Morales recorded the save despite allowing six runs, one earned, on six hits over three innings, striking out four. Dublin starter Makano Fo took the loss after surrendering seven runs, four earned, on two hits in one inning, while F. Ogami worked six innings and allowed eight runs, six earned.
