Dublin Uses 15 Hits to Defeat Vallejo 10-6

July 10 2024 The Dublin Leprechauns defeated the Vallejo Seaweed 10-6 behind 15 hits and a steady middle-inning attack. Dublin scored twice in the first inning and added runs in the second to take an early 3-0 lead before Vallejo tied the game with three runs in the third.

Dublin reclaimed control with three runs in the fourth inning and added single runs in the fifth and seventh before scoring twice in the eighth. Vallejo scored once in the fifth and twice in the ninth but could not complete the comeback. Dublin finished without an error while Vallejo committed four errors.

B. Brown led Dublin with three hits three RBI and three runs scored. T. Latham also collected three hits and drove in three runs while A. Stayte had two hits and scored three times. C. Evans and J. Ford each added an RBI and B. Moreno contributed a hit and an RBI.

Brad Morano earned the win after allowing seven hits and two earned runs over five innings with one walk and seven strikeouts. Joey Mucilli worked three innings for Dublin while allowing three runs and N. Antony pitched one inning. Vallejo starter Christian Zellner went the distance but took the loss after giving up 15 hits and 10 runs eight earned with four walks and four strikeouts.
