Dublin Leprechauns Outlast Vallejo Seaweed 9-7

July 20 2025 The Dublin Leprechauns defeated the Vallejo Seaweed 9-7 after collecting 18 hits and scoring in five innings. Dublin overcame an early 1-0 deficit with three runs in the second inning then added two runs in the fourth and fifth innings to take a 7-5 lead. The Leprechauns added single runs in the sixth and seventh while Vallejo scored twice in the seventh. Damone Hale led Dublin with three hits two doubles two RBI and one run. Sam Ott went 3-for-4 with a walk and two runs while Abraham De La Cruz Dylan Leek Donnie Gardiner Victor Ceniceros and DJ Aceron Jr. each recorded two hits. JC Javier contributed a two-run home run as a pinch hitter and Carson Richter drove in a run. Vallejo finished with nine hits. Michael Pavelchak had two hits two walks and two RBI while Aaron Harper Brendan Hillis and Donovan Dismuke each collected two hits. Hillis hit two doubles and drove in a run and Bryce Hayman added an RBI. Nico Camacho earned the win after allowing one run in two-thirds of an inning. Gehrig Taylor worked a scoreless inning and John Inglis recorded the save with 2.2 scoreless innings and two strikeouts. Dublin starter Connor Caporale allowed four earned runs on five hits in 3.1 innings. Adrian Morales took the loss for Vallejo after giving up five earned runs on 10 hits in 4.2 innings.
