Dublin Leprechauns Defeat Vallejo Seaweed 13-3

July 21 2025 The Dublin Leprechauns defeated the Vallejo Seaweed 13-3 at Wilson Park. Dublin outhit Vallejo 15-7 and scored in five different innings while limiting the Seaweed to three runs on seven hits.

Dublin took a 3-0 lead in the first inning and added two runs in the fifth and sixth innings before scoring once in the seventh. The Leprechauns broke the game open with five runs in the ninth. Vallejo scored once in the fourth fifth and ninth innings.

Abraham De La Cruz led Dublin with four hits in five at-bats and also stole a base. Donnie Gardiner went 1-for-3 with three runs two RBIs and a home run. Josue Rivera added two hits and two RBIs while JC Javier contributed two RBIs. Victor Ceniceros had two hits and Gordon Wend scored twice and drove in a run.

Wend earned the win after allowing three earned runs on six hits in 8.1 innings with four walks and eight strikeouts. Dante Hatchett recorded the final two outs without allowing a run. Matt Lazcano took the loss for Vallejo after surrendering five earned runs on nine hits in five innings. Anthony Espinoza allowed eight runs over four innings.
