Effective immediately the Santa Rosa Scuba Divers will be known as the Vallejo Seaweed for the rest of the season. They will wear Seaweed uniforms at all games home and away. Their roster/stats will be reflected as Vallejo Seaweed. The team moved to Santa Rosa and took the identity of Santa Rosa Scuba Divers for first two weeks of the season. "We are the Seaweed, we have the best fans in the league and they want their team back. We live there and want to play there." says Christian Carmouce the manager of the Seaweed.

The Pecos League and Vallejo Seaweed would like to thank Julie Myers for her time at Greater Vallejo Recreation District. Julie served as Recreation Supervisor and was instrumental in bringing the Seaweed to Vallejo and Wilson Park in 2022.

Her last day with GVRD will be 12/31/2024. "Julie was always available for any of our needs and took care of us at Wilson Park" says Christian Carmouche field manager of Vallejo Seaweed.

2025 will be the 5th year of Seaweed Baseball and the 3rd year of Seaweed Baseball in Vallejo. The Seaweed begin their season on May 22, 2025 at San Rafael.
